Tours of Jaunpils Castle are not only interesting with a rich dose of history, they are an adventure for both adults and children at any time of the year.

Informative tour of the castle

During the tour, the castle guide, while walking through the castle, provides insight into the history of the knights' castle, everyday events, and the life stories of the castle's most notable figures.

Duration: 45 minutes
For groups (starting from 6 people): for students 3,00 EUR, increasing. 5,00 EUR

The Adventure of Little Knights (for students up to 5th grade)

The students, transformed into little knights, explore the castle grounds and the mill. Two governesses demonstrate riding skills on wooden horses and other skills needed by knights.

Little Monks (for students up to 5th grade)

A monk and a maid take children dressed in little monk's robes through the castle, playing out an ancient medieval school, acquiring skills in recognizing weapons and learning the etiquette of the time.

Duration: 1 hour 20 minutes

Theatrical tour "With the Keeper of the Castle Keys"

During the Baron's absence, all the keys to the castle are entrusted to the Keeper of the Castle Keys, so that she can introduce the castle guests to the history of the knightly castle, the internal order rolls, the divine and infernal deeds of the barons and other courtiers, as well as medieval upbringing methods. Everyone has a unique opportunity to pick up medieval weapons in the Wine Cellar. At the end, the Swedish cannon fires!

Christmas trip with the castle Rūķenītis (for students up to 5th grade and adults)

During Christmas, children are invited to go on a journey with the attractive Rūķenītis to make noise together in honor of Troksnītis, sing songs to Dziesmītis, and dream in the Dreamland of the Elves. Children will bake delicious gingerbread cookies with the dwarf Gardumiņš and enjoy them with their parents in one of the palace halls…
