These terms and conditions govern the procedure for purchasing tickets/gift cards and booking hotel rooms (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”). SIA “JAUNPILS PILS” (hereinafter referred to as “Pils”). By using this website and/or purchasing tickets on this website (hereinafter referred to as “Site”), you as the user of this page (hereinafter referred to as “User”) agree to comply with the terms and conditions set out below.

1. OWNERSHIP

1.1. All copyrights to the Service modules and the software of the systems used belong to the Castle or external service providers and are protected by the Copyright Law. The information published here may be used for reference purposes and ticket purchase purposes only. The information may not be republished or used for commercial purposes.

1.2. Any User of the Site undertakes to avoid any interference with the operation of the Pils Website in any way and by any means. Any monitoring (observation, recording) of the use of the Services and copying, reproduction, modification, use and publication of the obtained information (including the content of the web page) for any purpose is prohibited. Any action that may cause overload of the Website or disruption of the operation of the ticket shop is prohibited. For violation of this clause, the Pils has the right to charge the client a contractual penalty of up to 7000 EUR.

2. PROVISION AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

2.1. The User is aware and assumes full responsibility that when receiving the Services, only correct and truthful information will be provided. If incorrect or false information is provided during the Services process, the User is not guaranteed to receive the Services.

2.2. All information concerning personal data and necessary for the purchase of Services will be processed in accordance with the "Personal Data Protection Law". The personal data provided by the User will be used solely and exclusively for the provision of Services and for the accounting/administration needs of the Castle.

2.3. The payment card details and passwords provided by the User for access to the electronic money account will be used solely and exclusively to the extent necessary to ensure the purchase of Services in accordance with the international rules of bank payment card organizations and the electronic money User Agreement.

2.4. Pils does not display card details used in customer transactions on the Website. To complete the transaction, the customer is redirected to the selected payment provider's solution. For example, SEB bank's internet banking. Pils is not responsible for the accuracy or falsity of card details and the payment gateway developer's solution.

3. LIABILITY

3.1. When making purchases on this Site, the User assumes full financial responsibility for the transactions made. The User is aware that a ticket registered in the system and issued to the user is sufficient proof of the transaction that has taken place: the purchase of a ticket.

3.2. The Palace does not assume responsibility in cases where the ticket is lost or becomes available to third parties due to the fault of the User.

3.3. Neither the Palace nor the organizer checks (except in cases where the name and surname are indicated on the ticket) whether the person presenting the ticket is the person who purchased the ticket, and is not liable for any losses caused by the above. Tickets with an identical barcode do not impose any obligations on either the Palace or the organizer.

3.4. The Castle is not responsible for disruptions to the Site caused by the fault of a third party, including, but not limited to, technical problems of the Internet provider.

4. PURCHASE AND USE OF TICKET

4.1. A ticket is a document that gives the right to participate in an event under specific conditions, for example, at a specific time and place. A ticket is a ticket paid for on the website, electronically registered in the Palace Website reservation system and identified by a unique ticket code and first and last name.

4.2. The ticket is valid only for the specific event for which it was purchased.

4.3. Payment for tickets is possible using internet banking solutions or a payment card issued by a bank.

4.4. The service fee for ticket sales may vary depending on the selected payment method. The applicable service fee and the final price of the purchased ticket are displayed to the User before payment is made.

4.5. After purchase (successful purchase), the User will receive the ticket in their specified email address.

4.6. When attending the event, a valid physical ticket or ticket QR code, or an email with a ticket containing a QR code, must be presented. An identification document, if it is necessary to verify the person, as the ticket may only be used by the person specified when purchasing the ticket.

4.7. The user is obliged to ensure that the information identifying the ticket specified in the ticket printout does not become available to third parties.

4.8. The User is aware that if he cannot present an identity document, the Palace and the organizers have the right to deny such a person entry to the event.

4.9. The User is aware that due to technical reasons, for example, the User's data carrier is unable to adequately display the QR code, the use of the QR code may interfere with the acceptance of the ticket to the event.

5. TICKET RETURN

5.1. Tickets purchased electronically can be returned by contacting the Palace staff using one of the contact methods. On the contact page.

5.2. An electronically purchased ticket can be returned if there are more than 2 hours left until the start of the event. A ticket purchased in person may only be returned by the person in whose name the ticket is, upon presentation of an identity document.

5.2. The money, depending on the type of ticket purchase, will be returned to the buyer's bank account.

5.3. In the event that one ticket has been purchased for several people (group ticket), only the entire ticket can be returned.

5.4. When returning a ticket to a domestic event:

– the ticket seller receives 75% of the ticket value if there are more than 2 hours left until the start of the event;

– the ticket transferor receives 100% of the ticket value if the event is not held due to the fault of the Palace or the organizers.

5.5. The Palace is not responsible for failure to comply with the event schedule due to reasons beyond its control.

6. LOST TICKET, ASSISTANCE AND COMPLAINTS

6.1. In the event that a printout of the ticket or an e-mail containing the ticket is lost, it is possible to re-receive the ticket in e-mail form:

6.1.1. When contacting the Castle staff using any of the contact methods On the contact page.

6.1.2. Castle, Jaunpils, Tukums region, LV-3145, at the administrator, upon presentation of an identity document, but no later than 30 minutes before the start of the event indicated on the ticket.

6.2. Customer complaints and claims are reviewed if they are submitted in writing, indicating the name of the event, date, and organizer, no later than two weeks after the end of the event.

6.3. All disputes and disagreements shall be resolved by mutual agreement; if no agreement is reached, the dispute shall be resolved in accordance with the procedure specified in the legal acts of the Republic of Latvia.

6.4. The pages of the Pils Website may contain references and links to information found on the Internet worldwide. Since Pils has no control over these web pages and the information contained therein, Pils is not responsible for the accuracy, relevance, content and information of these web pages.

6.5. All claims related to the conduct, content, quality, advertising, etc. of the event must be made to the event organizer.

7. GIFT CARDS

7.1. By purchasing a gift card, the buyer agrees to these terms and conditions.

7.2. A gift card can be purchased on the Pils Website.

7.3. The gift card can be used to pay for services and goods offered by the Palace only on site in the Palace territory, during the Palace's working hours, by presenting the gift card or its QR code.

7.4. If the purchase amount exceeds the value of the gift card, the difference can be covered by other payment methods.

7.5. If the total purchase value is less than the value of the gift card, the remaining amount will not be used in the future and the balance will not be refunded.

7.6. Only one gift card can be used per purchase, unless otherwise stated.

7.7. The validity period of the gift card is 6 months from the date of purchase.

7.8. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or returned.

7.9. In the event of loss or theft of a gift card, the card will not be renewed and will not be reimbursed.

8. Hotel room reservation

8.1. Room reservation (registration for service) is made using the Site's room reservation module: indicating the day of registration for service, the day of check-out, the number of days reserved (starting with check-in and ending with check-out), the number of adult and minor guests, and guest data (name, surname, e-mail, telephone).

8.2. If the Palace is unable to provide the User with the reserved room at the time desired (e.g., all rooms of a certain class are occupied/reserved at that time) or in the desired room, the Palace will, if possible, offer the User a room of equivalent value.

8.3. A reservation is only a desire expressed by the Website User to receive the hotel Service. The actual transaction/agreement for receiving the Piils hotel Service takes place on the specified registration date of the User's reservation application, on which consent is given by both parties (User and Pils) to receive the Service.

8.4. If the User wishes to cancel the room reservation, they must contact the Castle staff using one of the contact methods. On the contact page.

8.5. If the User does not arrive to check in on the room check-in date specified in the reservation application, the Castle has the right to cancel the User's reservation and provide the opportunity for other Users to book the room.

9. Other terms

9.1. The Palace reserves the right to change these terms and conditions or discontinue the issuance of gift cards and/or tickets at any time.

9.2. Payment processing is provided by the payment platform makecommerce.lv, therefore Pils transfers the personal data necessary for payment processing to the platform owner Maksekeskus AS.
