Museum: +371 27052824The museum features rotating exhibitions featuring works by artisans, local and professional artists alongside historical stories.
For lovers of art and beauty, a narrow medieval staircase will lead from the first floor of the museum up to the exhibition halls and gallery, where exhibitions by both professional and local artists, craftsmen, and flower growers can be viewed.
In the exhibitions of the Jaunpils Museum, you can learn not only about the history of the larger and smaller manors of Jaunpils, but also see models of the Livonian Order castles – Jaunpils and Dobele, the von der Rek family tree, archaeological finds, collections of coins and hunting equipment. The stairs further lead to the Knights' Cellar, where you can enjoy the historical environment, see the figures of knights, learn about the history of chivalry in Latvia and see historical objects related to Jaunpils Castle and two of the three cannons of Jaunpils Castle.
The core value of every museum is its collection, which preserves evidence of time, personalities, and events in audiovisual, visual, and archaeological sources. The materials from the museum's collection can be viewed in museum exhibits and exhibitions.
Since 2007, the museum has been participating in the creation of the National Museum Collection Union Catalogue, digitizing the collection. The museum collection would not be possible to create without the support of residents. 98% of the Jaunpils Museum collection is made up of donations.
Visitors and residents of Jaunpils Museum have praised the books published by the museum about the history and people of the region. In the book “Jaunpils manors, manor houses” For the first time, a historical story about the history of the Jaunpils region and manors spanning seven centuries – from the 13th to the 20th century – has been compiled.
Has been issued "Jaunpils Tale" A collection of stories and legends from Jaunpils.
In the book “The Grey Barons of Strutele” Author Maija Kovaļenko has opened the door to the life stories of the people of Strutele, encouraging the reader to understand and analyze our own modern race of time, which we call life in the 21st century.Information for museum visitors:

For pensioners: FREE on the first Tuesday of each month and the last Sunday of each month. At other times: 3,50EUR (upon presentation of a pensioner's card)
