Jaunpils Museum, in collaboration with the Jaunpils Hunters' Association, invites you to the opening of the exhibition "FOREST. HUNTING. HUMAN." on June 10 at 3:00 PM at the Jaunpils Museum.
The exhibition “Forest. Hunting. Man.” was created by the Jaunpils Museum in cooperation with the Jaunpils Hunters Association. It tells the story of the association’s history, hunting traditions, and people who have been closely associated with forests and hunting over the years. The exhibition is complemented by nature scenes photographed by Ulda Tone and objects from the Jaunpils Museum collection.The exhibition brings together various objects and evidence – ancient hunting equipment, photographs, books, trophies, animal skins and stuffed animals, which reveal the everyday life, skills and traditions of hunting in different times.
The exhibition invites you to learn about hunting not only as an activity, but also as an important part of the cultural history and lifestyle of our region.
