Excursions to Jaunpils Castle are not only interesting with a rich dose of history, they are like an adventure for young and old at any time of the year.

Informative tour of the castle

During the tour, the castle guide, taking a walk around the castle, provides an insight into the history of the Knights’ Castle, everyday events and the life stories of the castle’s most famous people.

Duration: 45 minutes
For groups (from 6 people): for students 2.00 EUR, increases. EUR 3.00

The adventure of the little knights (for students up to 5th grade.)

Pupils, transformed into little knights, get acquainted with the surroundings of the castle and the mill. Two governesses demonstrate riding skills with wooden horses and other skills required by knights.

Small donuts (for students up to 5th grade)

A monk with a maid takes the children in small monk costumes through the castle, playing an ancient medieval school, learning the skills of recognizing weapons and learning the courtesy laws of the time.

Theatrical tour "With castle key holder"

During the Baron’s absence, all the castle keys are entrusted to the castle key keeper, who introduces the castle guests to the history of the Knights’ Palace, the internal scrolls, the divine and hellish works of the Barons and other courtiers, and medieval methods of upbringing. Everyone has a unique opportunity to pick up medieval weapons in the Wine Cellar. Finally, shoot the Swedish gun!

Christmas trip with Castle Rūķenīte (for students up to 5th grade and adults)

During Christmas, children are invited to go on a trip with the attractive Dwarf to make noise together in honor of Noise, sing songs to the Song, dream in the realm of Dream Dwarfs. The children will bake delicious pancakes with the dwarf Gardumiņš and will enjoy them together with their parents in one of the castles of the castle …
