The history of Jaunpils Castle Tavern dates back to the very beginning of the castle. The tavern kitchen has not changed its location since the 14th century.
The interior of the tavern with concrete vaults, burning fireplace, special lamps, candles, mood is designed so that each visitor can feel the medieval atmosphere while enjoying the feast.
The menu is carefully thought out and combines classic values with modern ingredients and a special way of serving.
The squeaky blood sausages come from far and wide and are recognized as the best in the whole kingdom.
Jaunpils Castle Tavern is run by a young but very talented and energetic chef Artūrs Aumalis. His perfectionism and demand for the highest quality is appreciated in Latvia.
